The collard greens planted last winter are still going strong, as well as the kale.
This photo was not technically strong to begin with but I added some color and contrast.

Photo Challenge: Day 5 – Camera Raw

For today’s challenge, I shot and edited my first picture in camera raw mode (my husband actually did the snap). I have been learning about all the cool edits I can do in raw that you can’t do when the pic is in jpg mode. However I had only Elements 6.0 on my laptop and that particular version did not support canon raw. Luckily I had the 8.0 software and was able to upgrade to a supported version. This edit was just about completed when the screen went out on my laptop. Now I am on to fix that so there might be a delay in my next posting.

Three girls met up last weekend at Ohana with our husbands. I have known them both since middle school.

Photo Challenge: Day 4 – Green Pepper

We finally have green peppers. The plants from last fall made it through the winter freezes and are producing green peppers. It has been years since I have been able to grow a decent green pepper. Looks like my luck has changed.
